According to organizational and methodical instructions of the regional state administration and the plan of city management concerning emergency situations annually in the city of Nikolaev, in each area pass "Day of TsO". And every year the forms and methods of these events are improved.

City CO courses provide ongoing methodological assistance to schools in preparing measures for civil protection. On the eve of the "Day of the Central Committee" educational and methodical meetings are held with the management of educational institutions in order to acquaint them with the recommendations of courses on the organization and conduct of events on the Central Committee, together with the Department of Education planned demonstrations.

Usually, these demonstrations are prepared in advance and held in each district of the city with the help of city CO courses. We plan a list of activities with the heads of educational institutions, with whom we always find understanding, make new proposals to improve them, and additionally conduct practical classes with commanders of non-military formations of these institutions.

It has become a good tradition to invite to the demonstration events units of the fire and rescue service "01" units of the internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, which demonstrate their professional rescue skills. Such events are very spectacular and have a practical focus. They are needed not only for the exchange of experiences between educational institutions, but also for the practical prevention and response to emergencies. Such events are covered in the media. Therefore, each educational institution shows its creative approach, professionalism, skill to conduct events at a high methodological level.

Accidents of nuclear reactors: characteristics. Abstract

In the field of radiation safety, two terms are used to refer to cases involving human exposure: radiation and radiation-nuclear accident

A radiation accident is any unplanned event at a facility with radiation or radiation-nuclear technology, if it occurs when there is a loss of control over the source and there is a real (or potential) threat to human exposure associated with loss of control over the source. …

A radiation-nuclear accident is any unplanned event at a facility with radiation-nuclear technology, if during its occurrence there is a loss of control over the nuclear chain reaction and there is a real or potential threat of spontaneous chain reaction.

According to the probability of occurrence and consequences of the accident, nuclear reactors are divided into design and off-design.

Project accidents are anticipated situations for the elimination of which animal farm chapter one summary the project provides certain means and structural elements and at the same time there is no significant re-exposure of personnel and certain groups of the population. Extra-design basis accidents are those that lead to significant destruction of the reactor core (> 20% of fuel rods). As a result, personnel and the population are re-irradiated and the environment is significantly polluted.

According to the scale of distribution of radionuclides, it is accepted to distinguish two types of accidents: industrial and municipal. In the event of an industrial radiation accident, the radiation effects are limited to the production premises and the territory of the facility, and as a rule, only the personnel of the nuclear facility are exposed to radiation.

A municipal accident is characterized by the spread of radionuclides outside the site, which requires measures to protect not only staff but also the public. Municipal accidents are divided into local, if up to 10 thousand people live in the accident zone, regional – with an area of several settlements, administrative districts to several areas with a population of more than 10 thousand people, global – municipal radiation accidents , which extend to significant or the entire territory of the country. Global accidents include cross-border, with the spread of the consequences of the accident beyond national borders (Table 1).

To assess the situations that may arise during the operation of nuclear reactors, in many countries around the world, including Ukraine, uses the International Scale of Events at NPPs, which was developed by IAEA specialists.
