Canadian Eric Walberg is a journalist specializing in the Middle East, Central Asia and Russia. A graduate of University of Toronto and Cambridge University, he has lived in the Soviet Union, then Russia and Uzbekistan as a UN adviser, translator and lecturer. He’s a regular contributor to Dissident Voice, Counterpunch, and Global Research.
