Guess who’s coming to dinner? The Coucil on Foreign Relations

President Obama hosted “a private dinner with a group of foreign policy experts,” the White House announced last night. Among them: Sandy Berger, who was caught stealing and destroying classified documents that related to President Clinton’s record on terrorism issues.

“Former National Security Adviser Sandy Berger was sentenced Thursday to community service and probation and fined $50,000 for illegally removing highly classified documents from the National Archives and intentionally destroying some of them,” CNN reported in 2005.

“Berger must perform 100 hours of community service and pay the fine as well as $6,905 for the administrative costs of his two-year probation, a district court judge ruled.”

Ronald A. Cass, in 2007, noted that Berger took extraordinary steps to cover up his crime:

On May 17th, Sandy Berger, President Bill Clinton’s National Security Adviser, voluntarily gave up his law license and with it the right to practice law. That is a stunning move for an accomplished lawyer, one of the nation’s most influential public officials. Someone should take note. In fact, everyone should.

Berger previously entered a deal with the Department of Justice after he was caught stealing and destroying highly sensitive classified material regarding the Clinton Administration’s handling of terrorism issues. That deal allowed him to avoid jail time, pay a modest fine, and keep his law license. It also allowed him to avoid full explanation of what he had taken and why he had taken it.

U.S. War Crimes and The Need To Recognize The Psychology Of Evil

Around 1969 as a young boy, I looked-up the definition of the word, evil. I found something like, “Preference and actions for one’s own material wealth over the well-being of others.”

I’ve always remembered that definition as the one that made the most sense. I’ve never found it again in more modern dictionaries.

In 2007, Stephen Zarlenga (Executive Director, AMI) asked my opinion: “Carl, do you think there’s some kind of ‘slave gene’ that explains people worshipping the very leaders crushing them?” I responded, “Maybe. There’s plenty of consideration that the ‘human animal’ has a fear-reflex and reptilian brain function attracted to hierarchies. We certainly find this fear and system-worship in our work for monetary reform.”

Today, considering our human condition, we observe:

  • A nexus of evil among “leading” families in government, money, and corporate media who provably lie for unlawful wars (herehereherehere), rapacious economics (herehereherehere), and who use corporate media to “cover” these crimes while speaking to us never above a pre-teen level.
  • Public inability to clearly recognize this evil, take action to stop it, and remember these acts define our “leaders.”
  • A growing number of Americans recognizing our Emperor’s New Clothes status, willingness to speak and act, and retention that our “leaders” really do seem to act for evil.

Political Ponerology is a book studying evil as a condition with recognizable characteristics; principally that evil people are psychopaths (and here): a veneer of socially-acceptable behavior thinly covering vicious actions.

Human beings have difficulty imaging such “Big Lie” evil from their “leaders” because ordinary people tend to psychologically project their own values of empathy onto their “leaders.” Those of us with more exposure to our “leaders” can help point to facts for regular Americans to recognize the evil right in front of their own eyes.

And the race continues between “leaders’” insatiable lust for power, control, and money versus the 99.99% who seek simple justice. When recognition grows, demand for arrests will also grow.

We will not have justice until these “leaders” are lawfully arrested to stop their war-murders (among ~100 crucial areas of crimes):

Iran Supreme Leader: Prepare for the ‘New World Order’

In this picture released by the official website of the office of the Iranian supreme leader, President Hassan Rouhani kisses the forehead of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei after his surgery at a hospital in Tehran, IranBY:

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei warned that the “new world order is emerging” and that “Iran will have a strong role in creating” it, according to a Farsi language transcript of Khamenei’s remarks late last week to the country’s Assembly of Experts.

Iran will lead this “new world order” that will replace American influence as capitalism and Western influence collapses, according to Khamenei, who underwent surprise prostate surgery on Monday.

“Iran will have a strong role in creating the new world order,” Khamenei said, explaining that Tehran will expand its already growing influence in Latin America and even Asia.

“We have important potential outside Iran, we have supporters, we have strategic depth, in the region, some because of Islam, some because of language, some because of Shia religion, they are our strategic depth, these are all our strengths, we should use them all,” Khamenei said, according to a translation of his remarks provided to the Washington Free Beacon.

“And it is not only in the region, outside the region, in Latin America we have strategic depth, in some important parts of Asia we have strategic depth, we have the tools to use these opportunities and we have to use these opportunities, using them makes the country strong,” Khamenei said.

A sign of the West’s waning power came when “the Zionist regime of Israel” purportedly “lost the battle against the small population of the Muslims in Gaza,” according to a separate recounting of Khamenei’s remarks published by the state-run Fars News Agency.

“The recent war in Gaza was an example of miracle; a small region with limited capabilities accomplished a task that brought the Zionist regime, as the symbol of the West’s power, to its knees,” he was quoted as saying. “The current world order cannot continue and a new order is emerging.”

On Monday, just days after delivering these remarks to top leaders in Iran, Khamenei entered the hospital for prostate surgery.

The surgery was reported to have been successful and Khamenei was accompanied by Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, who was pictured kissing the Supreme Leader’s head shorty after the procedure ended.

“I have a surgery and I am now leaving for the hospital,” Khamenei was quoted as telling the country’s press early Monday. “There is no reason to worry; this, of course, does not mean that I don’t need people’s prayers, but God willing, there is no point to worry as it is a normal operation.”

While Khamenei has not addressed the public since the operation, Rouhani said that he is recovering.

Khamenei, who will reportedly be in the hospital for up to five days, is “in good health conditions now,” Rouhani was quoted as telling reporters in Tehran.

Meanwhile, Iranian authorities announced that it had arrested a Ukrainian for attempting to spy on the country’s nuclear power plant at Bushehr. Iran claimed that the spy was hired by the United States in a bid to “impair” Tehran’s relations with Russia.
