Flight Instructor states that we all fly over a FLAT EARTH.
Thanks again for having me on Mark.
I calculated what it would take for an aircraft to sustain a constant altitude above the ground while flying 100 miles away. If the aircraft is going 120mph (small piston aircraft like I fly) then it would need to do a constant decent at 133 feet per minute. If the aircraft was doing 360 mph (typical for small regional jets) then it would have to maintain at least 400 feet per minute.
A normal decent rate for a small aircraft is around 5-700 ft/min, and airliners are about 1000 ft/min. CLEARLY… we would notice the fact that we are loosing 100′ of al
Here is my exact calculation:
Aircraft flies 100sm along the surface of the earth (altitude in AGL is arbitrary). How
much angle, and what decent rate would be required to maintain a constant altitude above
the earth’s surface, assuming the given curvature of the earth (per modern science).
Distance Travelled = 100sm (528000 feet)
Altitude Loss = 6669 feet (per standard curvature formula)
Angle Required to maintain level = -0.72°
Feet Per Minute (120 mph) = 133 ft/min
Feet Per Minute (360 mph) = 400 ft/min
This week had so many news items we got dizzy. The government fenced off a church in Canada for breaking social distancing. A dozen more universities required the vax for on campus students. Cruise ships rescuing people from a volcano required the vax to board, the stock market almost broke 34000 (not a typo) 42...
A Flat Earth advocate who wanted to make a difference recently targeted the Masons, burning down three lodges in Canada before finally being arrested. The daily beast reached out to me for a statement on the matter and wondered if it was a trend. I said that the Flat Earth members are only interested in...
Many people think that the New World Order will take another five years. Many people are wrong. Rutgers University announced that all students will require the vax. The state of New York has declared that all future public events will require the vax. The White house has stated the vaccine passport program will roll out...
Krispy Kreme will give away a free glazed doughnut to anyone who comes in with a COVID-19 vaccination card through the end of 2021, the company announced Monday. Whatever little things brands can do to help make it past the pandemic are good things, Chief Marketing Office Dave Skena told Insider in a phone call....
Foreshadowing the social challenges that may emerge as the United States begins to pull out of the yearlong pandemic, the latest poll showed a majority of Americans want to limit the ways in which unvaccinated people can mix in public. A majority – 62% – said unvaccinated people should not be allowed to travel on...
The world of weird continues in 21 with the CDC announcing the new guidelines for people who are fully vaccinated. To no one’s surprise, all restrictions are lifted if you get the shot, which now creates a brand new two class system: Vaxxed, and non-vaxxed. The Gattaca like dystopia we have read about in books...
