Rob joined me again to examine in depth the biblical story of Abraham destruction of his father’s gods. Angry at Abraham because of the destruction of his idols, Terah reports his son to Nimrod, who then punishes them in judgment by casting him into the fiery furnace at Kasdim. Protected from destruction, Abraham is freed from his struggle and allowed to flee with those that join him in belief in the most high God. Leaving quickly he, his father, Sarah, Lot, and other followers and believers are then able to flee Babylon and escape to Haran.
