15 Months after Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 disappeared off the face of the Earth, we still have no idea where the plane or its 239 passengers and crew have gone. Since that time, there has been no shortage of theories about what happened to that flight, and it seemed like we would never find out what happened. That is, until recently.
Earlier today it was reported that a piece of plane wreckage was found on the French-owned island of Reunion, just off the coast of Madagascar. The debris in question appears to be a wing flap, and while we don’t know for sure if it belongs to MH370, the evidence seems to be pointing in that direction. Experts have concluded that it most likely belongs to a Boeing 777, which is the same type of plane. Police in Reunion have claimed that it looks like it was in the water for roughly a year, which would fit the time frame.
