The Rays, Psyche and Mediumship
In Theosophy and Metaphysical teachings, the seven rays are said to be seven major types of Light-Substance (spirit/matter) (waves/particles) that compose the created universes. These are also believed to convey “Divine Qualities.” According to Alice A. Bailey, the soul determines the rays of the individual. Each person has a Soul Ray and a Personality Ray. The Soul Ray remains constant from life to life, through all their incarnations; and, the Personality Ray is different for each incarnation. In some teachings, the Rays correspond to the Primary Chakra centers and their colors.
While doing Psychic and Mediumship work, the reader “senses” information located in the sitter’s Etheric body that is fed from the Astral Body relative to their aura and personality-type. This information assists both the Spirit realm (Gatekeeper) and the Psychic-Medium to counsel the sitter. Therefore, it is important to know the Virtues and Vices of each ray as they relate to the aura and Chakra centers in the Physical-Emotional-Mental-Spiritual make-up of the sitter.
