His Westie (and bestie) Mickey was not acting his normal perky self, so Ant took him to the vet…only to be told that Mickey has Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. Yes, it is just as bad as it sounds, leaving Mickey coughing and weak, and with very few options, so rather than going with the recommended treatment of continued steroids for the remainder of Mickey’s life, a whole different kind of misery for Mickey, Ant looked outside the accepted bounds of veterinary care to see if there just might be a miracle somewhere for Mickey. Bring a tissue (if you can find any!) and find out how it all turns out!
