By this time next week, all the American news agencies will report that the United States has reached the quote unquote grim milestone of 100,000 deaths. I’m sure that a lot of people have cried for the virus victims. Word to the wise, don’t, not now, not when the American deaths are just numbers on a screen, just shadow puppets on a wall.
Maybe one day there will be something worthy of your tears. Maybe the event will be better late than never. Maybe when the powers take the reins off and show us what they can really do, maybe then there will be something to cry about.
