THE kindness and generosity of complete strangers has made one little girl’s dream come true.

Five-year-old Indy, who has acute lymphoblastic leukaemia, had been dreaming of a “big girl” bedroom – a special place where she could forget the past six months of her life and look to the future.

And with the help of Malvern’s Nicole Rosenberg, Prahran’s Daniel Manning and the generosity of the community, that dream has become a reality.

The pair raised more than $5000 to give Indy and sister Evy, 3, a new bedroom filled with bright colours and new beginnings.

Mum Jodie Pappas, from Brunswick, said the girls were “completely overwhelmed and speechless” when their new room was revealed.

“But the smiles on their faces were gigantic,” Mrs Pappas said.
