The mother of Sandy Hook gunman Adam Lanza who slaughtered 20 US schoolchildren and seven adults was a gun-hoarding survivalist who was stockpiling weapons in preparation for an economic collapse, it has emerged.
Nancy Lanza was shot four times in the head before her son Adam gunned down young pupils and teachers at Sandy Hook elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut.
Her sister-in-law Marsha Lanza told reporters at her Illinois home that her gun-obsessed relative was part of the ‘prepper’ movement that fears an economic collapse will lead to a breakdown in society.
“She prepared for the worst,” Ms Lanza said.
“Last time we visited her in person, we talked about prepping — are you ready for what could happen down the line, when the economy collapses?”
Nancy Lanza (52) had five registered firearms, had begun stockpiling food and taught Adam how to shoot. He is believed to have used three of her guns — a Bushmaster .223-calibre, and two handguns, a Glock 10 mm and a Sig Sauer 9mm — in the school massacre after he shot her dead in bed.
Friends of Nancy Lanza, the mother of Newtown shooting suspect Adam Lanza, told 60 Minutes on Sunday he suffered from Asperger’s syndrome, and that dealing with the condition dominated both their lives. It’s already been reported that Lanza reportedly had the condition, but there’s no evidence it had any effect on his rampage. As the nation sets out to understand how Friday’s massacre came to pass, some are rightly worried that the high-functioning form of autism will become unfairly stigmatized.
Adam Lanza’s mother had been increasingly concerned over her son’s well-being in the weeks before the tragedy, telling a friend just a week before that he was “getting worse” and that “she was losing him,” the New York Daily News reported. That report makes no mention of Asperger’s syndrome, but it cites Adam’s uncle who said he was taking an anti-psychotic drug called Fanapt. The Atlantic points out that several diagnoses have been bandied about in the press, including autism, Asperger’s, and “personality disorder.”
FANAPT® tablets are indicated for the treatment of adults with schizophrenia. Efficacy was established in two short-term (4- and 6-week) placebo- and active-controlled studies of adult patients with schizophrenia [see Clinical Studies].
Psychiatric Disorders: Frequent – restlessness, aggression, delusion; Infrequent – hostility, libido decreased, paranoia, anorgasmia, confusional state, mania, catatonia, mood swings, panic attack, obsessive-compulsive disorder, bulimia nervosa, delirium, polydipsia psychogenic, impulse-control disorder, major depression
The father of Connecticut school shooter Adam Lanza, Peter Lanza, was the tax director for General Electric, a corporation that paid -0- taxes on 14.2 billion dollars in profits last year. According to Fabian4Liberty, Peter Lanza was scheduled to testify in the ongoing global LIBOR scandal. In what could only be described an amazing coincidence, the father of Colorado Batman shooter James Holmes, Robert Holmes, was also a LIBOR witness in his position with FICO. According to the link at FICO, Robert Holmes was a ‘Fraud Scientist’.
The father of Newtown Connecticut school shooter Adam Lanza is Peter Lanza who is a VP and Tax Director at GE Financial. The father of Aurora Colorado movie theater shooter James Holmes is Robert Holmes, the lead scientist for the credit score company FICO. Both men were to testify before the US Sentate in the ongoing LIBOR scandal. The London Interbank Offered Rate, known as Libor, is the average interest rate at which banks can borrow from each other. 16 international banks have been implicated in this ongoing scandal, accused of rigging contracts worth trillions of dollars. HSBC has already been fined $1.9 billion and three of their low level traders arrested.
Ladies and gentlemen, we have a motive and a link. This coincidence is impossible to overlook. Two mass shootings connected to LIBOR.
WASHINGTON (AP) — He was an honors student who lived in a prosperous neighborhood with his mother, a well-liked woman who enjoyed hosting dice games and decorating the house for the holidays.
Now Adam Lanza is suspected of killing his mother and then gunning down more than two dozen people, 20 of them children, at a Connecticut grade school before taking his own life.
The 20-year-old may have suffered from a personality disorder, law enforcement officials said.
Investigators were trying to learn as much as possible about Lanza and questioned his older brother, who is not believed to have any involvement in the rampage.
Lanza killed his mother at their home before driving her car to Sandy Hook Elementary School and — armed with at least two handguns — carried out the massacre, officials said.
A third weapon, a .223-caliber rifle, was found in the car, and more guns were recovered during the investigation.
So far, authorities have not spoken publicly of any possible motive. Witnesses said the shooter didn’t utter a word.
Catherine Urso, who was attending a vigil Friday evening in Newtown, Conn., said her college-age son knew the killer and remembered him for his alternative style.
‘‘He just said he was very thin, very remote and was one of the goths,’’ she said.
Lanza and his mother, Nancy, lived in a well-to-do part of Newtown, a prosperous community of 27,000 people about 60 miles northeast of New York City.
A grandmother of the suspect — who is also the mother of Nancy Lanza — was too distraught to speak when reached by phone at her home in Brooksville, Fla.
‘‘I just don’t know, and I can’t make a comment right now,’’ Dorothy Hanson, 78, said in a shaky voice as she started to cry. She said she hadn’t heard anything official about her daughter and grandsons. She declined to comment further and hung up.
A law enforcement official speaking on condition of anonymity said investigators believe Lanza attended the school several years ago but appeared to have no recent connection to the place.
At least one parent said Lanza’s mother was a substitute teacher there. But her name did not appear on a staff list. And the law enforcement official said investigators were unable to establish any connection so far between her and the school.
Adam Lanza’s older brother, 24-year-old Ryan Lanza of Hoboken, N.J., was being questioned, a law enforcement official said. He told authorities that his brother was believed to suffer from a personality disorder, the official said, speaking on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak on the record about the unfolding investigation.
The official did not elaborate, and it was unclear exactly what type of disorder he might have had.
Ryan Lanza had been extremely cooperative and was not under arrest or in custody, but investigators were still searching his computers and phone records. Ryan Lanza told law enforcement he had not been in touch with his brother since about 2010.
Brett Wilshe, a friend of Ryan Lanza’s, said he sent him a Facebook message Friday asking what was going on and if he was OK. According to Wilshe, Lanza’s reply was something along the lines of: ‘‘It was my brother. I think my mother is dead. Oh my God.’’
Adam Lanza attended Newtown High School, and several local news clippings from recent years mention his name among the school’s honor roll students.
Lanza’s parents filed for divorce in 2008, according to court records. His father, Peter Lanza, lives in Stamford, Conn., according to public records, and he reportedly works as a tax director for General Electric.
A neighbor in Newtown, Rhonda Cullens, said she knew Nancy Lanza from monthly get-togethers the neighborhood women had a few years back for games of bunco, a dice game.
‘‘She was a very nice lady,’’ Cullens said. ‘‘She was just like all the rest of us in the neighborhood, just a regular person.’’
Cullens recalled that Lanza liked to garden and to make her house look nice for the holidays. Lanza joked, though, that no one noticed because the house was out of view, up a hill, she said.
Sandeep Kapur, who lives two doors down from the Lanza family in Newtown, said he did not know them and was unaware of any disturbances at the Lanza house in the three years that he and his family have been in the neighborhood.
He described the area as a subdivision of well-tended, 15-year-old homes on lots of an acre or more, where many people work at companies like General Electric, Pepsi and IBM. Some are doctors, and his next-door neighbor is a bank CEO, said Kapur, a project manager at an information technology firm.
‘‘The neighborhood’s great. We have young kids, and they have lots of friends,’’ he said. ‘‘If you drive past this neighborhood, it gives you a really warm feeling.’’

The gunman who today slaughtered 26 people including 20 children used his teacher mother’s own guns to shoot students in her kindergarten class during his horrific killing spree at a Connecticut elementary school, it was revealed tonight.
Adam Lanza, 20, who is said to have a personality disorder, was carrying a .223 rifle and two handguns when he entered the Sandy Hook Elementary school shortly after 9.30am and started gunning people down – after he shot his mother Nancy, 52, in her face at her nearby home.
Witnesses say he was going from room-to-room shooting people after first killing the principal Dawn Hochsprung and psychologist execution-style in the main office.
Officials said most of the slaughter occurred in two classrooms, and one entire class is unaccounted for.
Parents who have not been united with their children are assuming the worst. One witness told WCBS: ‘(Police) just told us everyone presumed missing is in the school and they are dead.’

In what most likely will go down as the worst school shooting in American history, at least 27 people, including up to 18 children, have been killed after a gunman (or two) opened fire at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut.
Multiple news outlets are reporting different numbers in regards to how many have been shot and killed but it has been confirmed that at least 18 children have been killed.
An official with knowledge of Connecticut school shooting tells the Associated Press that 27 people are dead, including 18 children.
Many of the shootings took place in a kindergarten classroom, sources told the Hartford Courant.
The Atlantic Wire is reporting a similar death toll and also the claim that an entire classroom could be gone.
12:50 p.m.: The Courant reports that “One entire classroom is unaccounted for outside the school” though isn’t clear if that means they are missing, or gathered somewhere else.
12:39 p.m.: John Miller of CBS News says 27 people are dead, including 14 children. Miller also report the suspect was about 20 years old, possibly a parent of a student.
12:37 p.m.: Parents interviewed by ABC-TV say that under normal conditions, anyone enter the school during the day must be ring a bell and be let inside by school officials, suggesting that the gunman was known, possibly a parent.
Residents in the area are obviously stunned, with many disbelieving that something like this could even happen in the picturesque town of a little over 27,000.
“I can’t believe — in a small town like this — we’ve never had anything like this happen,” her father told a local CNN affiliate WTNH. “I was pretty shaken up. I did not know who or what happened.”
“It doesn’t seem possible,” said Alexa’s mother. “You have something happen so close to home. … I guess I’m still in shock.”
In the first reports by the Atlantic Wire, witnesses had reported at least two shooters but, as with almost every single mass shooting in American history, the media is pushing towards the lone gunman narrative.
NBC News is also reporting that second suspect may be in custody.
Clarification on the NBC report: Person in custody, may be second individual connected to CT school shooting (not two in custody)
Multiple corporate media reports indicate that the suspect was in his 20′s, had up to 4 guns, and was wearing a bullet proof vest.
He may have been a father of one of the students at the school.
1:20 p.m.: ABC News is reporting that 1 shooter was a 24-year-old in a bulletproof vest and four guns.
Obviously this is one of the most horrific shootings in history and, sadly, this tragedy will be used to further push for more gun control. (putting guns into the hands of criminals and keeping them out of law-abiding citizens)
Globalist operatives such as Michael Bloomberg are SURE to use this horrible tragedy to further attempt to restrict the American people’s right to bare arms.
Update: According to a report on CNN, a man in camouflage gear has been taken out of the woods in handcuffs near the school.
This is a huge development as it shows that there were most likely at least two suspects. It is possible that the second arrest will be completely covered up in the near future.
Update: ABC Mainstream reports one shooter dead in school
1:44 p.m.: “The scene is secure. The public is not in danger,” says Connecticut State Police spokesman Paul Vance.
1:42 p.m.:” Shooter is deceased inside the [school,]” says Connecticut State Police spokesman Paul Vance.

NEWTOWN, CONNECTICUT — New claims are starting to come to light regarding the bloody school shooting that took place Friday morning as it looks possible that multiple shooters were involved, signifying a Columbine-style governmental militarized operation to take away our guns in America.
The mainstream has reported that a “lone gunman” has shot and killed at least 26 people, including at least 18 children, after first reporting that only 2 people were shot in this dispicable act of violence.
A caller on the Alex Jones show Friday gave a report from Newtown that he was in a bowling alley before 10 AM (before the shootings took place) signifying that the school population was possibly held artificially low Friday as a possible militarized operation took place.
The caller has also stated that an unverified rumor is circulating amongst the school staff that the shooters were described to be disguised ”organized group of nuns” infiltrated the school property to carry out the shootings leaving at least 26 dead at an elementary school Friday.
Was this a manufactured shooting to limit our gun rights?
Note: Obviously if you read the article you will understand that this report was based on a local caller calling into a radio show. This in no way is saying that this is 100%, rather an investigative report to flush out more information and tips locally.

A horrific shooting at a Connecticut elementary school claiming the lives 27 people, including 18 children, will undoubtedly be used by the government and its establishment media to cynically push for a further rollback of the Second Amendment, especially following the concealed carry victory in Illinois.
The suspected gunman – who was either killed or took his own life – was the father of one of the students, according to CBS News.
Because the rampage occurred this morning, there are still very few details about the gunman or his motivations.
As we have documented on numerous occasions, many of the mass casualty shootings in the United States have the hallmark of being perpetuated by mind controlled assassins or are attributed to mind controlled patsies.
From neuroscience student James Holmes‘ suspicious military psychiatrist to Jared Loughner‘s fascination with mind control – mirroring that of Mark David Chapman, John Hinckley, as well as Columbine killers Harris and Klebold – the narrative on recent mass shootings share unmistakable similarities.
Moreover, like the Colorado shooting, there are reports surfacing that there was a second shooter at the school in Connecticut, a detail that will, if confirmed, dispel the current report that the shooter was a father of a student and possibility engaged in some sort of violent vendetta or suffering from psychosis.
Infowars.com will keep a close watch on this story and report to our readers and viewers the crucial details always wither ignored or gloss over by the corporate media.
Piers Morgan implies that all handguns should be banned
By Paul Joseph Watson
December 14, 2012
Film maker Michael Moore quickly seized upon the tragic school massacre in Connecticut to call for “strict gun control,” while CNN host Piers Morgan implied that all handguns should be banned.
Liberal talking heads wasted no time at all in exploiting the horrendous events this morning at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, where 18 children were amongst the 27 killed, to push their political agenda.
“The way to honor these dead children is to demand strict gun control, free mental health care, and an end to violence as public policy,” tweeted Michael Moore, whose 2002 film Bowling For Columbine was a poster child for firearms regulation.
CNN host Piers Morgan implied that even handguns should be banned in America when he tweeted, “This is America’s Dunblane.
We banned handguns in Britain after that appalling tragedy. What will the U.S. do? Inaction not an option.”
However, Morgan is seemingly ignorant of the fact that the decision to ban handguns in Britain did nothing to lower gun crime. In the six years following the ban, gun crime more than doubled.
“Nothing happened after Aurora, now it MUST,” Morgan preached in a subsequent tweet, adding, “This is now President Obama’s biggest test – will he have the courage to stand up to the American gun lobby?”
Morgan also recently went on the offensive against the Second Amendment in the aftermath of the murder/suicide involving Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Jovan Belcher and his girlfriend, remarking that it was, “Quite incredible that Bob Costas makes an impassioned plea for less handguns, and Americans go crazy with indignation. He’s 100% right.”
Given the recent all time record high in Black Friday gun sales amidst fears that Barack Obama will use his lame duck term to take a bite out of the second amendment, today’s tragedy in Connecticut is only likely to spur more firearms purchases by law-abiding Americans.
Following the July ‘Batman massacre’ in Aurora Colorado, gun sales spiked by almost double normal figures.
Intel Hub Note: With the comments that Piers Morgan has made today, coupled with his past pleas for gun control, we can now conclusively say that he is nothing more than a British agent who has absolute disdain for the US Constitution.
The people of this country should DEMAND his immediate resignation from CNN and deportation from the country as a foreign spy. The United Kingdom is FULLY disarmed and completely at the mercy of the bankster elite who are now attempting a takeover of America.

Connecticut State Police say they and local police responded to a Friday morning shooting at Newtown’s Sandy Hook Elementary School.
The Hartford Courant was reporting that shortly after 9:40 a.m., one shooter was reported in the main office of the elementary school and one victim had numerous gunshot wounds.
Details were sketchy, but the Newtown Bee is reporting that a police officer carried a seriously wounded child from the building. (The Courant also said one shooter was reported dead).
Groups of students — some crying, some holding hands — were being escorted away from the school by their teachers. Some students were still in the school at 10:30 a.m. after it was placed on lock down, parents said.
The school is in a residential, wooded neighborhood . It has has 39 teachers and about 650 students. A reverse 911 call went out to parents warning of an incident.
Parents were being reunited with children. But, NBC Connecticut reported, police are searching the area behind the school with guns drawn.
Intel Hub Note: Stay tuned as we are already hearing reports that indicate multiple shooters and, right on que, we are also hearing CNN report that there was only one.
NEWTOWN, Connecticut | Fri Dec 14, 2012 12:49pm EST
(Reuters) – At least 27 people, including children, were killed on Friday when at least one shooter opened fire at an elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut, CBS News reported, citing unnamed officials.
The shooter, the father of a student there, was also killed, CBS News reported. The principal and school psychologist were among the dead, CNN said.
There were unconfirmed reports of a second shooter after witnesses reported hearing dozens of shots fired.
Sandy Hook Elementary School teaches children from kindergarten through fourth grade – roughly ages 5 to 10.
“It was horrendous,” said parent Brenda Lebinski, who rushed to the school where her daughter is in the third grade. “Everyone was in hysterics – parents, students. There were kids coming out of the school bloodied. I don’t know if they were shot, but they were bloodied.”
Television images showed police and ambulances at the scene, and parents rushing toward the school. Parents were seen reuniting with their children and taking them home.

NEWTOWN, Conn. (AP) — A shooting at an elementary school in Connecticut on Friday ended with the shooter dead and at least one teacher wounded and sent frightened pupils into the parking lot.
The shooter was killed and apparently had two guns, a person with knowledge of the shooting said. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the investigation was still under way.
It wasn’t clear how many people were injured at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown. A dispatcher at the Newtown Volunteer Ambulance Corps said a teacher had been shot in the foot and taken to Danbury Hospital.
The superintendent’s office said the district had locked down schools in Newtown, in western Connecticut about 60 miles northeast of New York City.
State police said Newtown police called them around 9:40 a.m.
A photo posted by The Newtown Bee newspaper showed a group of young students – some crying, others looking visibly frightened – being escorted by adults through a parking lot in a line, hands on each other’s shoulders.

Colorado’s Gov. John Hickenlooper said “the time is right” for state lawmakers to consider gun control measures, offering his firmest stance in the aftermath of several high-profile shootings, including a movie theater rampage in suburban Denver, that have shocked the nation.
The Democratic governor upset some in his party for not taking a stronger position when he said last summer that stricter laws would not haven’t prevented the mass shooting in Aurora.

The gunman who killed two innocent victims after opening fire at an Oregon shopping mall on Tuesday has appeared ‘numb’ in the lead up to the shocking attack that left two dead.
22-year-old Jacob Tyler Roberts was hoping to move to Hawaii until plans fell through just days ago, his ex-girlfriend has revealed.
Hannah Patricia Sansburn, 20, said on Wednesday that Roberts was usually happy-go-lucky and enjoyed joking around but just one week ago his behavior abruptly changed.

Gun control, according to a recent blog post by Timothy Egan of The New York Times, is “the issue that dare not speak its name.” Egan is upset that people who do not like gun control recently said mean things about sportscaster Bob Costas, who does. This proved to Egan that “you cannot talk” about guns in America.
New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg agrees. Thanking Costas for speaking up, he tweeted: “A frank discussion about gun laws and gun violence is a discussion we need to have.”
Bloomberg has an ally in NPR’s Neal Conan. In a “Talk of the Nation” segment back in March titled, “Trayvon Martin Story Sparks Difficult Conversations,” Conan lamented: “I feel we’re missing the opportunity to also have a discussion about guns.”
