BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – A manager at a Chick-fil-A location in Birmingham didn’t know he was on candid camera.  However, his act of kindness to a homeless person who walked in the restaurant has garnered praise and gratitude on social media.

Andrea Stoker took the picture. She was in the restaurant to have a meal with her son and saw a homeless man come in.  The manager got up and asked if he get him anything.  Before the man could answer, the manager also asked if he had gloves, but he didn’t, so the manager handed him his.

The manager, Mark Meadows, made sure the man was warm and fed.

Stoker sent her picture to Chick-fil-A’s main office to make sure they saw this.

“It was wonderful to see your employees being the hands and feet of Jesus, and that my son was able to witness it all. Thank you for putting your money where your mouth is,” Stoker said.

Many people have praised the manager and other Chick-fil-A employees for their kind actions to help the man. They’ve also posted messages supporting Chick-fil-A on its Facebook page.

Others have encouraged people who see this photo on social media to follow Meadows’ example and pay it forward to others.
