2013 Bilderberg Group Meeting to be Hosted in Europe

It has been rumoured that the next Bilderberg Group meeting in 2013 will be hosted in Europe.

Less than five months since the 2012 Bilderberg Group meeting, there has been growing speculation that the 2013 Bilderberg Group meeting will either be hosted in Germany, Greece or Italy.

If we examine where recent Bilderberg Group meetings have been hosted and where Bilderberg Group meetings usually take place, then it’s fair to suggest that these rumours may hold some validity.

There have been in total 60 official Bilderberg Group meetings since 1954 (twice held in 1955 and 1957). The most recent meeting was hosted in the United States. Although on average the United States represents 28% of official attendees, only 20% of all official Bilderberg Group meetings have been hosted in the United States.

In fact, more than 72% of all official Bilderberg Group meetings have been hosted in Europe, with Canada hosting the remaining 8%.

To add weight to the speculation that the 2013 Bilderberg Group meeting will be hosted in Europe is the surprising fact that the United States and Canada collectively have only ever held the meeting consecutively once.

Europe on the other hand has hosted over 93% of their meetings consecutively (two meetings or more in a row). As can be observed by the graph below, Europe has only ever hosted the meeting three times without hosting it consecutively.

Therefore, based on the information above and based on an analysis of the recent trends in where Bilderberg Group meetings are hosted, the following can be derived:

  1. After the United States has hosted a meeting, the probability that they will host the meeting for two or more years is around 3%.
  2. Canada only ever hosts Bilderberg Group meetings after Europe hosts the meeting for three or more years in a row.
  3. Whenever the United States hosts the meeting, Europe then hosts the meeting for 2 or more years in a row.
  4. 20% of all Bilderberg Group meetings hosted by Canada will probably be next hosted in the United States.
  5. After the last two meetings hosted in the United States, Europe has hosted the meeting for three years in a row.
  6. On Average, Canada hosts Bilderberg Group meetings every 9 years. The greatest time span between meetings was 13 years. Therefore, if these trends are correct, Europe will host the next three meetings, followed by Canada (see point 5)
  7. Whenever there is a financial crisis, Europe appears to host the meeting. Europe hosted the meeting in 1973 (oil crisis), 1987 (Stock Market Crash) and 2007 (Global Financial Crisis).

Bilderberg Group Quietly Meets in Italy

While the attention of most Americans was focused on whatever trivia dished out from the mainstream media such as the current hot celebrity or the David Petraeus incident, it appears that the Bilderberg Group has arranged what some have described as an impromptu meeting in Rome, Italy.

Yet, although much of the European press is dark on the issue, which is unfortunately characteristic of the mainstream media in any nation, some Italian newspapers are reporting the information regarding the meeting.

According to 21stCenturyWire, the agenda apparently centered around the fate of EU countries such as Italy, Spain, and Greece, three nations that have been hit hard with the worldwide derivatives crisis and the subsequent imposition of austerity.

Various newspapers from all across Italy are reporting that around 80 members of the Bilderberg Group, particularly the Bilderberg Steering Committee, have been called to Rome for a semi-secret meeting to discuss the unfolding events of the engineered crisis.

In contradiction to the traditional methods of secrecy used by the Bilderberg Group such as renting entire hotels for days on end and dispensing with the guests and even some of the workers during the conference, this Italian Bilderberg meeting is taking place at the same time as another popular event, the Rome Film Festival.

Thus, instead of meeting in total secret, it appears the Bilderberg Group is attempting to hide its treachery in plain sight while blending in with the rest of the crowd of actors, actresses, directors, and general celebrities.

In this instance, one might suspect that the strategy of the group was to use the Film Festival as a cover for the attendees.

If any were sighted at the Hotel de Russie, the sight of both the festival and the meeting, they could always claim they had only come to attend the film festival, do a short interview on the importance of film in Italian life and their favorite movie, and remain largely ignored in favor of the real celebrities walking about.

In a cruel twist of irony and outright disdain for the “little people,” and as J.G. Vibes of the Intel Hub writes, Italian newspapers estimate the cost of the Rome meeting to be around 100,000 euros for 80 people in attendance.

According to Italian website,, the attendees list appears as follows:

Enrico Letta, Enrico Bondi, Mario Monti, Marlieke de Vogel, Corradino Passera, Education Minister Francesco Profumo, Paola Severino, Elsa Fornero, Guiliano Amato, Governor of the European Central Bank Mario Draghi, Lilli Gruber, Chicco Mentana, “Bebe Bernabe”, Flebuccio de Bortoli, Vendeline von Bredow, Mauro Moretti of CGIL, Alberto Nagel the CEO of Mediobanca, Angelo Gimbals the Chairman of Agcom, Federico Ghizzoni of Unicredito, Enrico Teaspoons of Intesa, Fulvio Conti of Enel, Anna Marion Tarantola who is the President of Rai, Rodolfo De Benedetti the President of the CIR, and Ignazio Vis the Governor of the Bank of Italy.

Italian Newspapers Report Secret Bilderberg Meeting in Rome Shares Hotel with International Film Festival

By JG Vibes

Various newspapers and online articles in Italy are suggesting that a good portion of the Bilderberg group, at least 80 of them, have been called to Rome this week for a secret meeting regarding the engineered Euro financial crisis and the unrest that has come as a result.

This meeting is particularly unusual because it is so small and informal, but it is possible that they may have switched up their tactics after the massive turnout for this year’s Bilderberg protest.

It is also possible that these smaller meetings happen all the time but were always able to slide under the radar.

This meeting is also unusual because they aren’t renting out an entire hotel, in fact, they are using a hotel that is hosting a massive event at the same time.

The hotel they have chosen is “the De Russi”, which is the site of this year’s International Film Festival, so that was either a major scheduling error or an attempt to hide in plain sight.

Despite all of the commotion surrounding the hotel this week, local publications were able to publish detailed lists of those who are attending the event.

Most of the publications to cover the meeting are suggesting that the topic of discussion will be the new commissioner for Spain, Greece, Italy and other areas of the European Union that are in dire economic crisis.

According to one translated article:

“It seems like a provocation. The Bilderberg Group meets in secret in Rome. Likely to decide the fate (and maybe the commissioner) of Italy, Greece and Spains.

In secret, but in the wrong place, because the hotel chosen for the meeting, the De Russie, in these days is besieged by reporters, photographers and fans for the presence of stars participating in the International Film Festival in capital.

Nice try, even if the megavertice (which we do not know if will also attend the cutting edge Mario Monti) is strictly behind closed doors. And, despite the spotlight on the Festival, there is no official trace in the Italian media of this event. The news a few websites and the newspaper Libero.”

Surprisingly there has been a record and a list taken of those in attendance, ranging from international bankers to world political leaders.

The translated article also has two separate sections listing the various Bilderberg members in attendance.

Local newspapers have estimated the cost of the event at 100 euros, for the 80 some people in attendance.

Just this past year in 2012, Bilderberg had their most recent large scale meeting in Virginia and this time the crowds protesting them had grown exponentially.

The IntelHub was on location with exclusive reports, articles, pictures and videos.
