The proverbial hammer has now been dropped on the American people as a no holds barred event could ensue with millions of armed citizens and constitutionalists alike. President Obama has announced that he essentially intends to use executive order to enact gun control measures in America overriding the US Constitution and everything our country is founded on.
In Monday’s press conference Obama stated the following:
“My understanding is the vice president’s going to provide a range of steps that we can take to reduce gun violence… Some of them will require legislation, some of them I can accomplish through executive action. And so I will be reviewing those today, and as I said, I will speak in more detail to what we’re going to go ahead and propose later in the week.
But I’m confident that there are some steps that we can take that don’t require legislation and that are within my authority as president, and where you get a step that, has the opportunity to reduce the possibility of gun violence, then I want to go ahead and take it.”
“That’s why we all need to get ‘em now before they take ‘em away.”

Organizers were shocked as 10,000 people attended a gun show in Daly City, California, with customers eager to purchase semi-auto assault rifles and high capacity clips due to fears that the Obama administration is about to eviscerate the second amendment.
Video footage of the event shows vehicles crammed into parking lots and crowds of people lined up to attend the show at the Cow Palace.
“The people we spoke to said they came because they fear that the president’s task force on guns will result in tighter restrictions on ammunition, clips, and especially assault weapons,” reports ABC 7 News.
Customers who purchased firearms put the huge turnout down to fears about the Obama administration’s draconian gun control agenda.
“That’s why we all need to get ‘em now before they take ‘em away,” said Jayleen Heres after buying an AR15 assault rifle.
Attendee Bob Daziel concurred, saying the popularity of the gun show was, “Because Obama wants to take everybody’s guns away. So they’re down here buying ammo, buying guns, they’re getting ready for the next revolution.”
Vice-President Joe Biden is currently overseeing a gun control task force that is set to announce its recommendations before the end of the month. Biden has indicated that President Obama could use executive orders to curtail the second amendment.
As we reported earlier this month, Biden guaranteed Boston Mayor Thomas M. Menino, co-chair of the Mayors Against Illegal Guns organisation, that the administration would “get it done by the end of January,” a promise made before the Sandy Hook shooting even took place.
A record 2.78 million Americans registered for background checks last month compared to 1.86 million in December 2011. Gun stores are struggling to keep up with demand as shelves begin to empty, with owners labeling Barack Obama the best gun salesman they ever had.
Sales of semi-autos are through the roof, prompting U.S. Sen. Chuck Schumer to demand that gun retailers like Walmart and Sports Authority, “Suspend sales of modern assault-style weapons until Congress is able to fully consider and vote on legislation to curb gun violence.”
California Senator Dianne Feinstein is set to introduce gun control legislation on January 22 that would treat gun owners akin to sex offenders, forcing them to submit fingerprints as well as requiring all Americans to register the serial numbers of all their guns with the federal government. The bill would also ban a plethora of different firearms.
It is not yet known whether gun control lawmakers will grease the skids for the widespread confiscation of semi-automatic firearms, a move which could prove disastrous.
While Obama is leading the charge to disarm Americans, he recently signed a bill that mandates lifetime armed Secret Service protection for all past presidents. The federal government is also buying ammunition in huge quantities, with over 1.6 billion bullets purchased by the Department of Homeland Security in the last 9 months alone.

Few polarizing subjects are more hotly debated than gun control.
Usually lost in the fray of emotional diatribes to ban guns, are the historic empirical foundations of our forefathers who fought a revolution to escape from imperial tyranny.
The true reality in today’s AmeriKa is that individual liberty is the most despised activity that any citizen can exert in their lives.
Both the popular state worship culture and the authoritarian hoodlums that run the government are so fearful of armed independent citizens, that they are eager to burn the Bill of Rights.
Face it, the government is committed to force you to be a ward of the state and will kill you if you resist.
Because of government school propaganda, those indoctrinated during the last several decades are woefully lacking in the knowledge of their own heritage. Phyllis Schlafly writes in, The Founding Fathers On Right To Bear Arms, and reminds of the essence in the Second Amendment.
James Madison: Americans have “the advantage of being armed” — unlike the citizens of other countries where “the governments are afraid to trust the people with arms.”
Patrick Henry: “The great objective is that every man be armed. . . . Everyone who is able may have a gun.”
George Mason: “To disarm the people [is] the best and most effectual way to enslave them.”
Samuel Adams: “The Constitution shall never be construed . . . to prevent the people of the United States who are peaceable citizens from keeping their own arms.”
Alexander Hamilton: “The best we can hope for concerning the people at large is that they be properly armed.”
Richard Henry Lee: “To preserve liberty, it is essential that the whole body of the people always possess arms, and be taught alike, especially when young, how to use them.”
“The chief reason America has remained a free country is the widespread private ownership of firearms. Individual ownership of guns made the American Revolution possible.
The principal purpose of the Second Amendment was to maintain our freedom from government. It is an insult to our heritage to imply that the Founding Fathers wrote the Second Amendment just to protect deer hunters.”
End of story, but the beginning of the gulag. Before bleeding hearts start their vicious attacks on the gun toting culture, a critical examination of your own national allegiance must be questioned.
Do you freely give your loyalty to the principles upon which the nation was founded or do you simply pledge your obedience to an imperium empire?
Consider that public officials are terrified of an armed citizenry because they are well aware that their personal safety might someday be confronted.
Their outlaw edicts and coercive submission is recognized as a dictatorship. However, an armed insurrection is so remote, based upon the overwhelming lack of character and courage of most populace denizens.
Facing an enemy on a battlefield would be more an exercise of genuflection and public remorse for daring to oppose the institutional establishment.
The current state of the art of weaponry, as any viewer of the TV military channel knows, is so advanced that open conflict against the Federal Stasi would result is suicide by cop.
Homeland Security is designed to be the domestic Gestapo. Any thinking and liberty-loving person must conclude that President Barack Obama acts as if he is a potentate.
Rule by executive orders is a formula for tyrannical governance. Gun registration builds the database for constabulary confiscation. An organized knock at the door means that abolition of banned munitions from the “Cold Dead Hands” will look more like a visit from an IRS tax auditor than an assault from the nearest SWAT team.
Too many people accept that subjects must be intimidated into compliance of surrender. The threat of armed defiance is less likely than meek regimentation for transport to a FEMA camp.
All those body bags will be used more effectively, when people’s opposition to being re-educated fails, than for dragging out your remains from your own house.
The practical prospects to use violence against a well funded and equipped force of government storm troopers is problematic at best. The solution to marital law thuggery is to repatriate the military legions stationed globally in the expansion of the empire. Somewhere within the ranks of the active military, the means to confront Emperor Obama exists. The military oath states:
“I, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.”
Careerist politicians, a tenured judiciary and an entrenched and escalating bureaucracy that consolidates the central government monster have systematically dismantled the Constitution.
The repressive regime would have you believe that the Bradley Manning’s in the military machine are traitors just as much as Benedict Arnold. Hitherto, the certainty that going it alone resistance allows for the enormous capacities of the Intelligence Community apparatus to target any lone individual.
Remember the predictive example of the American crypto-anarchist, James Dalton Bell. “He created the idea of arranging for anonymously sponsored assassination payments via the Internet, which he called “assassination politics”.
Since the publication of the “Assassination Politics” essay, Bell was targeted by the federal government of the United States. He was imprisoned on felony charges of tax evasion in 1997.”
Folks, let’s get real. Violent subversion just provides an excuse for even greater levels of repression. Likewise, gun confiscation has more to do with instilling universal fear in the minds of ordinary law abiding; translate – valid constitutional laws, than removing firepower out of your home.
Since the system dreads an armed citizenry, the criminal syndicates that divvy up their ruling fiefdoms, fear an informed population even more. Knowledge is required, but action must accompany an awakening that the totalitarian government thrives because civil society obeys the despotism of their feudal master.
Per the pernicious mass media, civil conduct is defined as surrendering your guns in order to repent out of a fictitious guilt or a bogus empathy for innocent victims.
Insultingly, the pressitute media professes to be the purveyor of altruism. Never will you hear one utterance about the foundations of individual natural rights that underpins rightful authority for personal and community liberty.
The Second Amendment of the Constitution was written to protect society from the instinctual tendencies of a tyrannical government. Where is the outrage from a horror-struck public?
The laundry list of dictatorial politicians from California to Illinois and in New York has identified themselves as enemies of the people.
The disgusting “Gabby Gifford’s” executive order that is being engineered by the Biden comrades will prohibit the manufacture and sale of a comprehensive range and types of weapons and accessories.
Administrative fiat out of the barrel of a government regulation is more dangerous than a Glock pistol pointed at your head from a FBI agent. Many civil servants still restrain their oppressive actions to the appearance of legal conduct.
However, the tyrants that make policy are bent on destroying the will of the public to oppose the transformation of America into a total police state.
The system will implode when enough genuine patriotic resistors organize a modern day Committee of Correspondence. The Tree of Liberty requires heroes. Unfortunately, most compliant citizens are cowards.
The rush to purchase guns demonstrates that a groundswell of public awareness is growing. The hoops designed to make gun ownership burdensome or personal carry permits nearly impossible to obtain, need to be endured and applied for in greater numbers.
By sending a loud and clear message to the establishment elitists, the righteous citizen militia will undertake the legitimate role of the Minute Men. Treason against the people has been official policy for decades.
Now is the time to revolt against the TSA mindset that is calculated to condition the acquiescent and the timid from exercising their basic rights.
A countrywide day of protest leading up to a national strike of civil disobedience is the inherent response to government tyranny. Engage in a public dialogue at your local assembly.
Organize events that demonstrate the resolve and bravery of our ancestors. Stand up to oppressive authority and defy the illicit tactics of the goon squads.
The system is playing a bluff. Push back now will spare bloodshed later. Never initiate any action that can be construed as violent behavior. Public political speech is the most skillful weapon to use, when exposing the oppressors.
The “War on Liberty” needs to be fought for the minds and hearts of all judicious thinking citizens. Guns are not the issue, recapturing your heritage and exercising your God given rights is the struggle.
The state of war is on. Fight it with fervor, while maintaining your dignity. Nothing less would dishonor your defiant forebearers.

Sen. Charles Schumer says retailers that sell assault weapons should stop offering them for purchase while Congress discusses gun regulation legislation.

WASHINGTON — President Obama said Monday that he will unveil a package of proposals to combat gun violence later this week, but acknowledged the daunting politics of getting all the legislative components through Congress.
Speaking at a news conference a month after the mass shooting at an elementary school in Newtown, Conn., Obama said members of Congress “are going to have to have a debate and examine their own conscience” when it comes to considering gun legislation.
“If everybody across party lines was as deeply moved [by the Newtown shootings] and saddened as I was, then we’re going to have to vote based on what we think is best,” he added.
Vice President Joe Biden, along with several cabinet secretaries, have compiled a list of “common sense steps” to reduce gun violence, Obama said — the fruits of a nearly month-long working group that consulted with law enforcement, gun rights groups, mental health advocates and gun control supporters, among others.
Obama will discuss the recommendations with Biden over lunch Monday. The White House will reveal details of the plan later in the week.
In the White House news conference, Obama reiterated his policy priorities, which he had endorsed immediately after the school shooting: strengthening background checks on gun purchasers, limiting access to high-capacity ammunition magazines, and “an assault weapons ban that is meaningful.”
But he acknowledged the steep political challenge of pushing firearms legislation through Congress, where the Republican-led House of Representatives has shown no inclination to sign on to new gun restrictions.
“Will all of them get through this Congress? I don’t know,” the president said.

Schumer on Sunday released a letter he sent to major retailers asking for a voluntary moratorium.
The New York Democrat says consumer demand for guns has gone up in the weeks since the December mass shooting in Newtown, Conn.
Schumer says Congress is debating the issue, and if measures get passed that limit these type of weapons, it won’t help if more of them have recently been sold.
President Barack Obama has made gun control a top priority. Vice President Joe Biden is expected to give him a comprehensive package of recommendations for curbing gun violence this week.
In addition to the release of a new national TV ad featuring family members of people murdered with guns urging Washington politicians to come up with a plan to reduce violence, the mayor released a scathing new report, called “Access Denied,” on the gun lobby, specifically the National Rifle Association.
“This report describes the many ways in which the Washington gun lobby has kept the country in the dark about gun violence,” the report reads.
The report says gives examples of the decreased federal government funding for research and prevention of gun violence. For instance, the report says the Center for Disease Control’s budget on firearm injury prevention has decreased by 96 percent in the past two decades. It also says the Justice Department funded 32 studies on gun violence in the early 1990s but has funded no studies in the past four years.
The blame for a decrease in government funding and looser laws is cast on the NRA in the report. It details accounts of the NRA’s effort to strip funding and weaken laws around guns, including a law that prevents military leaders from discussing personal gun ownership and its risks with troops.
“Now is the time for Congress to buck the special interests of the gun lobby that endanger our children,” Bloomberg said in a statement.
The report comes on the one month anniversary of the Newtown, Conn., massacre, where 20 children and 7 adults were killed. Also today, Vice President Joe Biden, who led a task force on gun violence, gave his recommendations to President Obama on how to decrease gun violence. Those recommendations, which have not yet been publicly released, will be presented by the president later this week, Mr. Obama said today.

The National Rifle Association released a new app on Sunday that includes a gun range equipped with coffin-shaped targets, and the option for players to simulate using a military-grade sniper rifle.
According to Think Progress, “NRA: Practice Range” is billed as a “network of news, laws, facts, knowledge, safety tips, educational materials and online resource” for the organization.
The app includes what it calls “9 true to life firearms,” and allows players to download an MK-11 sniper rifle setting for 99 cents. The rifle can shoot 750 rounds per minute.
“Practice Range” was released almost a month after the mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary in Connecticut, which gun advocates have insisted should be blamed on violent video games; Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) said in a CNN interview she was “astounded” by scenes from the “Call of Duty” game series.
However, as Think Progress also reported, some gun manufacturers have partnered with video game creators, granting them permission to use real gun models as a mean to market their firearms.

(NaturalNews) A cascade of reports emanating from the White House since the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in December make it clear that President Obama, despite a pledge in 2008 not to come after firearms, plans to make gun control one of his second-term cornerstones.
A report in the Washington Post Jan. 6 laid bare his strategy: The president plans to use a combination of methods to coerce, cajole, pressure and circumvent in order to enact “a far broader and more comprehensive approach to curbing the nation’s gun violence than simply reinstating an expired ban on assault weapons and high-capacity ammunition, according to multiple people involved in the administration’s discussions.”
So much talk of new gun control regulations – despite a U.S. Supreme Court ruling last June striking down Washington, D.C.’s handgun ban while reaffirming the Second Amendment’s individual right to keep and bear arms – has led to record gun and ammunition salesas panicky Americans seek to stock up ahead of new laws and regulations that may be on the horizon.

WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama said Monday he thinks an assault weapons ban makes sense, after accepting what he said was a “sensible” list of plans to curb gun violence from Vice President Joe Biden.
At a White House press conference a month after the Newtown massacre, Obama backed restricting high capacity magazines and better background checks for gun buyers but acknowledged that some proposals may fail to pass in Congress.
“If there is a step that we can take that will save even one child from what happened in Newtown, we should take that step,” Obama said of the elementary school massacre that left 26 people dead.
“The belief that we have to have stronger background checks, that we can do a much better job in terms of keeping these magazine clips with high capacity out of the hands of folks who shouldn’t have them, an assault weapons ban that is meaningful… those are things I continue to believe make sense.
“Will all of them get through this Congress? I don’t know. But what’s uppermost in my mind is making sure I’m honest with the American people and with members of Congress about what I think will work,” Obama said.

As gun and ammunition sales across the United States skyrocket and store shelves are emptied of just about anything related to weapons and accessories that may soon be banned by the Federal Government, some of America’s largest and most well known corporations are starting to take sides.
Reports have been streaming in over the last few weeks indicating that retail giant Walmart may be standing against the Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution and that their corporate headquarters has taken steps to restrict the availability of ammunition.
The following is an alert sent by a reader to SteveQuayle.com:
I’ve read various postings on message boards claiming local Wal-Mart managers told customers they are no longer permitted to reorder ammo inventory. I can confirm this is true.
I went to Wal-Mart today in our town to buy ammo. The case was almost empty. I asked the store manager when new supplies will arrive.
He said, “Corporate headquarters notified all local managers that we can not order any more ammo until further notice.”
Do Wal-Mart executives know that Piers Morgan doesn’t shop at Wal-Mart, but millions of middle class American families are the source of their wealth?
What happens to Wal-Mart’s earnings if Middle Class America boycotts Wal-Mart for caving in to Obama?
I’ve always suspected the gun grabbers would cut off ammo supplies first. They’re doing it now. Next, they will use strong arm tactics to shut down ammo manufacturers.
You’ll have a gun, but no bullets to load in it. It’s only the beginning of the communist agenda.
This plan was prepared a long time ago. The commies are pushing hard and fast.
They plan to overrun a confused and bewildered public that can’t fathom that a genuine communist takeover is underway.
Last week, Bank of America chose to stand with the anti-gun movement when they froze the funds of a licensed online gun retailer, reportedly telling the owner of American Spirit Arms that he, “should not be selling guns and parts on the internet.”
Supporters of the Second Amendment, however, are speaking with their wallets, having lambasted Bank of America for their actions, with many claiming they were closing their accounts immediately.
When one of the largest online sporting goods stores in the world, Cheaper Than Dirt, suspended the sale of firearms after mounting pressure from anti-gun groups and the government, thousands of comments from disgruntled customers – many of them now ex-customers – overwhelmed the company’s Facebook page.

It’s been one month since the mass shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School and Newtown Police Chief Michael Kehoe says it’s time for the White House to ban military-style assault weapons, restrict high-capacity magazines and close loopholes in the background check system.
In an interview with NBC’s Michael Isikoff, Kehoe recalled that he was one of the first to respond to the December elementary school massacre and entered the school to find “the eerie silence in the hallways, the smell of burnt gunpowder and then the bodies of dead children on the floor of the classrooms.”
“I was sickened, I was angry,” Kehoe explained. “It was something I never could have imagined could have happened in any school in Newtown.”
The police chief said he became concerned when he realized that the shooter, Adam Lanza, had more firepower than the officers responding to the scene. Lanza was armed with a Glock 9mm pistol, a Sig Sauer 9mm pistol, a Bushmaster AR-15 assault rifle and several 30-round magazines. Officers had only Glock pistols with 14-round magazines.
“Ban assault weapons,” Kehoe urged the White House. “Restrict those magazines that have so many bullets in them, shore up any loopholes in our criminal background checks.”
“We never like to think we’re going to be outgunned in any situation we’re dealing with,” he explained. We do a good job of securing dynamite in our society… [Assault rifles] are another form of dynamite.”
“I think they should ban them.”
Vice President Joe Biden on Tuesday will present the recommendations of his gun violence task force to President Barack Obama. It was not clear if the recommendations would include an assault weapons ban, but guns rights groups like the National Rifle Association (NRA) have already vowed to fight even minor efforts to control guns.

And indeed, it’s that last point which should be the focus of any discussion of gun bans and gun control going forward – because there are literally tens of millions of people around the world who have been murdered and victimized throughout history because they permitted their leaders to disarm them.
Mass murder of unarmed victims
Here are some of the most notorious among them, as noted by firearms instructor Paul Howe recently:
— In 1929, the Soviet Union established gun control. From 1929 to 1953, about 20 million dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
— In 1911, Turkey established gun control. From 1915 to 1917, 1.5 million Armenians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
–Germany established gun control in 1938 and from 1939 to 1945, a total of 13 million Jews and others who were unable to defend themselves were rounded up and exterminated.
— China established gun control in 1935. From 1948 to 1952, 20 million political dissidents, unable to defend themselves were rounded up and exterminated.
— Guatemala established gun control in 1964. From 1964 to 1981, 100,000 Mayan Indians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
— Uganda established gun control in 1970. From 1971 to 1979, 300,000 Christians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
— Cambodia established gun control in 1956. From 1975 to 1977, one million educated people, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
In all, defenseless people rounded up and exterminated in the 20th Century because of gun control: 56 million.

President Barack Obama on Monday explained that pro-gun groups were “ginning up fear” about the government confiscating firearms because “it obviously is good for business.”
Last week, conservatives responded with outrage after Vice President Joe Biden suggested that Obama could take executive action for minor gun control measures.
Although executive orders are only able to enforce existing laws, radio host Rush Limbaugh warned that such action “could only be to take guns” and the Drudge Report ran photos comparing the president to Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin.
“I’m confident that there are some steps that we can take that don’t require legislation and are within my authority as president,” Obama told reporters during a press conference on Monday. “Where you get a step that has the opportunity to reduce the possibility of gun violence then I want to go ahead and take it. For example, how we are gathering data, for example, on guns that fall into the hands of criminals and how we track that more effectively.”
“As far as people lining up and purchasing more guns, I think we’ve seen for some time now that those who oppose any common-sense gun control or gun-saftey measures have a pretty effective way of ginning up fear on the part of gun owners that somehow the federal government is about to take all your guns away.”
“And there’s probably an economic element to that. It obviously is good for business,” he conintued. “Part of the challenge that we confront is that even the slightest hint of some sensible, responsible legislation in this area fans this notion that somehow here it comes and that everybody’s guns are going to be taken away.”
“If you look at over the first four years of my administration, we’ve tried to tighten up and enforce some of the laws that were already on the books, but it would be pretty hard to argue that somehow gun owners have had their rights infringed.”

Obama’s liberal base, led by the influential Center for American Progress (CAP), proposed on Friday a number of measures designed to rollback the Second Amendment, including a proposal to disarm Americans the government has classified as terrorists.
Rahmn Emanuel talks about denying “terrorists” access to the Second Amendment.
CAP was founded by the head of Obama’s presidential transition team after the 2008 election and the former chief of staff for president Clinton, John Podesta.
The think tank receives funding from George Soros and the Democracy Alliance, an organization founded by former Clinton Treasury official Rob Stein. Members include former Rockefeller Family Fund president Anne Bartley, Tides Foundation founder Drummond Pike, and a roster of influential and wealthy liberals.
On Monday, CAP boss Neera Tanden will moderate a discussion between Democrats who have played leading roles in the effort to scale back the Second Amendment, including Rahm Emanuel, the current mayor of handgun-free Chicago and Obama’s former chief of staff.
Emanuel was instrumental during the Clinton administration in getting the first assault weapons ban passed and is currently working on legislation in Chicago to seize firearms.
Other Democrats who will take part in the CAP discussion include the notorious gun-grabber Chuck Schumer from New York and California’s Rep. Mike Thompson, who chairs the House Gun Violence Prevention Task Force.
Back in 2007, Emanuel, then a member of the United States House of Representatives, told the annual Stand Up For a Safe America event sponsored by the Brady Center that Americans on the terrorist no fly list would not be allowed to own a gun.
At the time, according to the Inspector General of the FBI-administered Terrorist Screening Center, there were well over 700,000 names on the no-fly database and the list was growing at an astronomical rate of 20,000 records per month.
“The news that the list is growing tells us that more people’s rights are being violated. It’s a secret list, and the government puts people on it without any explanation,” said Nusrat Choudhury, an ACLU lawyer, last February.
Democrat senator Daine Feinstein, who has spearheaded the latest anti-Second Amendment effort and heads up the Senate Intelligence Committee, said in 2010 the “no-fly list itself is one of our best lines of defense” and recommended it be expanded and administered by the TSA.
In 2009, we reported that Democrat Rep. Carolyn McCarthy had introduced The No Fly, No Buy Act (H.R. 2401), a bill to merge the TSA’s no-fly list with the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS), the point-of-sale system for determining government approved eligibility to purchase a firearm.
CAP’s top recommendation is to require criminal background checks for all gun sales, including sales at gun shows and private transactions between individuals.
Since the election of Obama, liberals have crafted a right-wing terrorist narrative and have used it against their political enemies. The so-called “rightwing extremist” document produced by the Department of Homeland Security during the Bush administration and subsequently leaked to the media in April of 2009 revealed how the government considers patriot groups a terrorist threat.
The DHS has worked closely with the Southern Poverty Law Center and other ideological groups to demonize a wide array of political groups and individuals ostensibly on the right.
The establishment will continue to exploit the Sandy Hook massacre and other violent incidents as they work in incremental and piecemeal fashion to destroy the Second Amendment and deny their political enemies the right to possess firearms. The government’s secret no-fly and terrorist watchlists will be used to target political enemies.
So-called gun control is not primarily about protecting children. It is about disarming political enemies.
The Democrat party and so-called liberal foundations have effectively corralled what they consider subversive elements on the left – as the destruction of the antiwar and Occupy movements by the establishment show – and the only remaining threat comes from patriot and constitutionalist groups that understand the importance of the Second Amendment and its real purpose – an armed defense against tyranny.

Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) on Sunday said that gun control laws were not the answer to mass shootings because hatchets, guns, cars and video games all had a role in violent deaths in the United States.
“What I’m hearing is that people want to make certain that — first of all — that we protect the Second Amendment and their Second Amendment rights — protect their freedom and not impede that,” Blackburn told CNN’s Candy Crowley, adding that the focus should really be on “psychiatric and psychotropic drugs.”
“They are also wanting to make certain we get in behind these video games. I watched a couple of these last night in preparation for this segment and, Candy, as a mother and as a grandmother, I was astounded with some of the things I was seeing on ‘Call to Duty’ [sic]. And, of course, we know the Norway shooter would go in and use that as target practice.”
Crowley observed that “the steam for a ban on assault weapons is slowly coming out of the balloon” as time passes after the December mass shooting of 20 children in Newtown, Connecticut.
But New York Times National Political Correspondent Jeff Zeleny pointed out that a defeat of the assault weapons ban would not bring down the entire effort to curb gun violence.
“I think that the president is committed to this,” he explained. “Probably background checks, probably the [high-capacity] ammunition clips. But there is going to be another shooting probably, sadly. So, this is going to stay in the consciousness. I don’t think this is going to recede.”
“But the problem is that it could be a hammer, a hatchet, a car, a gun,” Blackburn argued.
“But hammers, hatchets and cars aren’t quite as fast as those clips,” Crowley noted.
“We’re still needing to look at this mental health,” Blackburn continued. “And you have to make sure that you’re protecting an individual’s rights.”

As a state senator in Illinois, President Obama opposed legislation providing an exception to handgun restrictions if the weapon was used in the defense of one’s home.
Obama’s vote would have maintained the status quo, which made it a violation of municipal gun ban law to use a firearm to save your own life in your own home. But the bill was passed anyway without his support.
The vote is a sign of how committed Obama may be to strict gun control measures.
The Illinois vote is hardly ancient history, having occurred in 2004 as Obama was running for election to the U.S. Senate. In opposing the measure, Obama lined up well to the left of the mainstream, as the Illinois Senate included 32 Democrats to 26 Republicans but approved the bill by an overwhelming margin and subsequently overrode a veto by then-Gov. Rod Blagojevich.

James Yeager, the CEO of a weapons and tactical training business who said in a recent training video published and then removed from YouTube that he would “start killing people” if President Obama continued to push forward on gun control, has released another follow-up video on the incident.
In it, Yeager, the head of Tactical Response, admits, “I said some pretty volatile stuff which I apologize for” and that “I do not in any way advocate the overthrowing of the United States government nor do I condone any violent actions towards any elected officials.”
He says he “did not reflect” on the original video before posting it to YouTube. Now, he says, gun advocates need to consider “what we need to be doing right now politically to further our cause.”
He appeared with his lawyer, Dana McLendon, an attorney and alderman in Franklin, Tenn. Yeager referred to him as an “alumnus” and friend as well as his lawyer.
In a telephone interview with The Raw Story on Friday night, McLendon said he “trained at his [Yeager’s] school” several times beginning in 2010.
In the video, McLendon said that “not everybody is going to be a gun enthusiast” but “they just want to walk around and feel safe.”
“There are politicians out there who are using this opportunity to kind of seduce these people into believing they have the solution for their safety,” he went on.

(BREITBART) Good news — it has become known that hidden deep within the massive 2800-page bill called Obamacare there is a Senate Amendment protecting the right to keep and bear arms.
It seems that in their haste to cram socialized medicine down the throats of the American people, then-Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Barack Obama overlooked Senate amendment 3276, Sec. 2716, part c.
According to reports, that amendment says the government cannot collect “any information relating to the lawful ownership or possession of a firearm or ammunition.”
CNN is calling it “a gift to the nation’s powerful gun lobby.”
And according to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV), that’s exactly right. He says he added the provision in order to keep the NRA from getting involved in the legislative fight over Obamacare, which was so ubiquitous in 2010.

The White House on Friday strongly denied reports that the administration is shying away from pursuing a ban on so-called assault weapons because it would be too difficult to push through Congress.
A White House spokesman, Matt Lehrich, insisted that President Obama will pursue a ban on military-style assault weapons despite what is expected to be fierce opposition from the National Rifle Association and its allies on Capitol Hill.
The New York Times reported Friday that the White House had calculated that an assault weapons ban would be exceedingly difficult to pass. The newspaper pointed to Thursday’s remarks by Vice President Biden, who is leading the administration’s task force on gun violence. Biden spoke publicly for 15 minutes and mentioned several proposals that could become part of the administration’s legislative agenda — including a ban on high-capacity ammunition magazines and universal background checks — but did not mention the assault weapons ban.

As the Obama administration openly vows to use unconstitutional “executive orders” to further infringe on the right to keep and bear arms, gun rights activists, members of the law enforcement community, military personnel and others are pledging to resist. Everything from an armed uprising and nationwide civil disobedience to legal means of resistance like the courts and nullification is being openly discussed online and even in the establishment media.
“The president is going to act,” pledged Vice President Joe Biden, who is leading an administration task force to further restrict gun rights in the wake of the Newtown massacre. “Executive order, executive action can be taken, we haven’t decided what that is yet. But we’re compiling it all with the help of the attorney general and all the rest of the cabinet members, as well as legislative action we believe is required.”
The Constitution, of course, reserves all legislative powers to Congress — not to mention the specific prohibition against infringements on gun rights contained in the Second Amendment. But disgraced Attorney General Eric Holder, who is helping develop the “executive action” plot, was caught in the 1990s on video calling for a tax-funded campaign to “brainwash” people against guns. He was also held in criminal contempt of Congress for lying about Operation Fast and Furious, which saw the Justice Department providing thousands of powerful guns to Mexican drug cartels through the ATF.
Appearing on CNN, Gun Owners of America chief Larry Pratt (pictured) said assaults on the Second Amendment imposed unilaterally by a lawless president would call the legitimacy of the federal government into question. Noting that Obama has already been ruling by decree in realms where he “has no authority” and that Biden is openly discussing “executive action” to deal with firearms, the no-compromise gun rights activist said any such unconstitutional presidential decrees infringing on the Second Amendment would have dire implications.
“That, I think, changes the game and throws into question the legitimacy of the federal government,” Pratt told rabid anti-gun CNN host Piers Morgan, a Brit who has come under fire in recent weeks for his oftentimes disrespectful and hostile attitude toward defenders of the Second Amendment. “I would advise Mr. Obama to consider what happened to [King] George the third when he was doing similar things against the American colonists.”
Meanwhile, former Congressman and GOP presidential candidate Ron Paul, who has millions of ardent supporters across America, suggested to radio host Alex Jones that “executive orders” purporting to ban guns may well spark a second American revolution. Jones himself made similar remarks in a heated interview this week on CNN as well, saying an assault on gun rights would lead to another revolution, drawing praise from his legions of followers but controversy in some conservative and libertarian circles.
During the interview, Ron Paul pointed out the hypocrisy of trying to infringe on the rights of Americans due to the actions of a murderer even as the Obama administration continues killing children all over the world using drones. “It should go without saying that he’s gone way too far. It also should go without saying that he’s acting with the use of illegal violence, and he becomes the violent person,” Rep. Paul explained. “These are dictatorial moves; they are very, very dangerous.”
Still, he did not believe Americans were likely to relinquish their firearms anytime soon. “I don’t think the American people will [turn in their semi-automatic guns],” the doctor-turned lawmaker from Texas continued. “I’ve always assumed that the line in the sand may well be drawn if the federal agent marches in unannounced and they say, ‘give me your gun and give me your gold.’ I don’t think they’ll be able to do that calmly. I think the American people will highly resent it and resist.”
Among those promising to resist, many have vowed to use the courts or nullification of unconstitutional federal laws to stop the assault. Meanwhile, law enforcement officials at the state and local level all across America are currently exploring legal options to block further infringements on Americans’ rights.
Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott, for example, citing recent Supreme Court rulings, said the proposals being discussed in Washington are unconstitutional. If any were to be approved, the feisty chief law enforcement officer vowed to take the federal infringements to court and have them thrown out. “I’ve been to the Supreme Court twice,” Abbott said in a recent interview with 1200 WOAI. “I can tell you that these laws that try to restrict our gun rights violate the Second Amendment guarantee of the right to keep and bear arms. The U.S. Supreme Court has spoken on this issue twice.”
Other law enforcement officials, like numerous state legislatures, are pursuing nullification in an effort to void any unconstitutional statutes within their jurisdictions. Gilberton Borough, Pennsylvania, Police Chief Mark Kessler, for example, is asking local lawmakers to adopt the “Second Amendment Preservation Ordinance,” which cites the state and U.S. constitutions to invalidate any further assaults on the unalienable rights of residents in his community.
“Hopefully this will spread like fire throughout the country, and the people will stand up and say, you know what, enough is enough, and under the Tenth Amendment, which grants the power of nullification of unconstitutional laws, we’re going to recognize this as unconstitutional, we’re not going to enforce it, we’re going to make sure this doesn’t happen,” Chief Kessler told The New American in an interview, adding that the Second Amendment was clear. “We want to do this peacefully, we don’t want any kind of violence whatsoever — I’m totally against that — I just want to see a peaceful resolution to this. And under the Tenth Amendment, hopefully we can accomplish this through the nullification process.”
Elected county sheriffs are also expected to be on the front line in any potential showdown between an out-of-control executive branch and the American people. Former Graham County, Arizona, Sheriff Richard Mack already has experience protecting residents in his jurisdiction from federal lawlessness. And he says that as the top law enforcement officers in their jurisdictions — with power to arrest federal agents for violating the law — sheriffs have a duty to protect the people and their liberties.
“The sheriffs need to be united in letting the federal government know that we’re not going to allow it,” he told WorldNetDaily in a recent interview. “Out of 200 sheriffs with whom I’ve met, I’ve only had one give me a wishy-washy answer. That one said he would try to take the federal government to court. Most of them have said they would lay down their lives first rather than allow any more federal control. They also said they would do everything they could to stop gun control and gun confiscation…. If the federal government wants to start a new Civil War, all they need to do is go ahead with gun confiscation.”
Gun Owners of America chief Pratt agreed with Mack. “The county sheriffs need to act and make new deputies to stop federal authority in the counties,” he explained. “This is a defensible idea. He can deputize people to serve since they are the ones who voted for him to represent them. A lot of citizens would stand up for their Second Amendment rights if they were protected by the sheriff.”
Countless other analysts and activists have also warned that Americans would be engaging in peaceful resistance — refusing to register their firearms regardless of any new, unconstitutional statutes or executive edicts purporting to require it, for example. A group of law enforcement and military personnel known as Oath Keepers has all of its members pledge to uphold their oaths to the Constitution and never enforce unconstitutional orders — including assaults on the right to keep and bear arms.
The people themselves will almost certainly resist, too, insist experts. “The anti-gun hysteria and other crapola coming out of Washington could lead to massive civil disobedience throughout the United States,” gun rights lobbyist and former National Rifle Association editor John Snyder was quoted as saying in the Law Enforcement Examiner. “They’re out of touch. It is time for the House of Representatives to slash the ATF budget or eliminate the agency.”
More than a few commentators have taken it a step further, promising armed resistance in the event federal authorities ever attempt to confiscate firearms — an unlikely prospect, for now at least. In a blog post that quickly went viral and appeared on countless sites around the internet, one gun rights activist even argued that citizens have a constitutional duty to resist any potential confiscation effort in the future by using force.
“If they come for our guns then it is our constitutional right to put them six feet under. You have the right to kill any representative of this government who tries to tread on your liberty,” wrote Dean Garrison with The D.C. Clothesline in a controversial blog post that has since gone viral online, garnering hundreds of thousands of readers, maybe millions. “To make myself clear I will tell you again. If they come for your guns it is your right to use those guns against them and to kill them. You are protected by our constitution.”
Of course, nobody wants to see violence, as virtually every prominent gun rights activist and supporter of the Constitution has said on numerous occasions. However, judging from the increasingly brazen assaults on the Second Amendment and the defiant attitude among firearm owners, who are buying weapons in record numbers, it has become clear that any and all efforts to further infringe on gun rights will be met with fierce opposition. First, political and legal means will be used. If those resistance strategies become futile, though, where this conflict might lead remains a matter of serious concern.

Self-preservation is the first law of nature. All animals, down to single-celled organisms, have the natural instinct to defend themselves. The Founding Fathers tried to enshrine the natural law of self-defense in the Bill of Rights under the 2nd Amendment, instructing their new government that it “shall not infringe” on Americans’ right to ward off individual attackers or tyrannical government.
But today, the politicians in Washington have shredded the Constitution and want Americans to be defenseless slaves, disarmed and lower than even amoebas.
Consider what Bill Clinton, who signed an assault weapons ban into “law” in 1994, said about Americans and their pesky freedoms:
“When we got organized as a country and we wrote a fairly radical Constitution with a radical Bill of Rights, giving a radical amount of individual freedom to Americans, it was assumed that the Americans who had that freedom would use it responsibly…. [However, now] there’s a lot of irresponsibility. And so a lot of people say there’s too much freedom. When personal freedom’s being abused, you have to move to limit it.”
