A Miami police officer is under review for embarking on a profanity-laced tirade Tuesday after an individual he ticketed said “God bless you” at the conclusion of their encounter.

Footage posted online depicted officer Kenneth MacLeod threaten Albert Valdes with arrest for being a “f**kin wise-ass 20-year-old punk” after he had stopped him on his motorcycle over a traffic violation.

“Have a great day,” Valdes told MacLeod at the beginning of the video. “God bless you.”

Those remarks apparently angered MacLeod.

“I’ll throw your ass in jail,” he told Valdes. “You want to be a sarcastic bitch? I’ll be a f**king bigger bitch!”

“You’re f**king with the wrong dude bro,” the officer continued. “I’ve been here longer than you’ve f**king been alive! I’ve put up with more s**t than you can ever think of. So if you want to test me again, you’ll be fine in Day County Jail real hunky dory tonight. Which part do you want to f**king play?”

“I would like to go to work sir,” Valdes responded.

“Then don’t be a f**king wise-ass 20-year-old punk!” MacLeod shouted before eventually walking off.

It’s not clear what took place before the short clip was uploaded online, but detective Vivian Thayer told the Miami Herald the department is investigating the officer’s conduct.

“Even though we don’t have a formal complaint, we are being proactive and investigating it,” she said.

“We do understand that it’s being shared on social media,” Thayer added. “But the actions of one officer does not speak for the whole department.”

At the time of publication, footage of the incident had been viewed more than 150,000 times on YouTube.
