Of Mice and Men

Some people just want to be taken care of. To be made comfortable and live without any worries. But what happens when this is actually accomplished?

In 1972, animal behaviorist John Calhoun created Universe 25, a mouse utopia. The goal was to see what might happen when a creatures every need is met. What happens to a society that no longer has a need to work for anything? What John and his team discovered will surprise you.

In the second half of the show, I am joined by Nick Hazelton, of the An-Yak podcast. Nick and I talk about his recent departure from traditional schooling and into self directed learning. This is part 1 of the interview. Part 2 will be posted in Anarcho-Preneur Episode 10.
