Anarcho-Preneur episode 013

You are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with. That’s what Jim Rohn said, and I think he was on to something.

This episode is all about consciously choosing your community, and why it’s so important in building the life and world that you want to live in. I talk about some of the mistakes people make when building their tribe. I also talk about some of my own mistakes in this area. What happens when you don’t take an active role in who surrounds you? And how do you break free from the wrong crowd?

Then, in the second half of the show, I delve into some Game Theory concepts and how they relate to society and voting. What happens when people make decisions without knowing all of the facts? What happens when those decisions are turned into laws?

I think there is a very compelling argument for why voting is the worst possible way to run a society. It all comes back to voluntary association. You should choose your life and tribe. And this episode will teach you why, and how to do it effectively.

People like simple solutions to complex problems. They like get rich quick promises. They like diet pills. They like 3 step programs. They want everything to be as easy as microwave popcorn. Politicians and marketers know this, and use it against you. The fact is, real solutions take work. Every situation is different and one-size-fits-all...

One day a man said to God, “God, I would like to know what Heaven and Hell are like.” God showed the man two doors. Inside the first one, in the middle of the room, was a large round table with a large pot of stew. It smelled delicious and made the man’s mouth water,...

The masons have a saying, ordo ab chao some interpenetrate as finding order in chaos, others say using chaos to create order. I’m gonna give my bit, relate it back to all the craziness going on, and tie it into a business lesson. FOF “The Grand Inquisitor” is a poem in Fyodor Dostoyevsky’s novel The...
